Intelligence audit

Finding what your organisation already knows

An intelligence audit traces where your organisation's knowledge actually lives: documents, systems, inboxes and a few people's heads. It separates what is reliable from what is stale, and shows what needs writing down before your team or your AI tools can depend on it.

What it covers

Where knowledge sits across your organisation, and who can find it. The pattern is often familiar: positioning in a deck, rates in a spreadsheet, the customer list in people's heads, and several versions of the same document with no way to tell which is current.

How we work

We review your main document stores and systems, and interview the people who hold the knowledge. They are usually senior and usually busy, so we keep the asks short and specific.

For each area we record what is reliable, what is out of date, who owns it and what has never been written down. The findings go into your maturity assessment and lead into a fact layer: one trusted set of facts that your team and your AI tools work from.

What we need from you

  • Access to your shared drives, intranet and key systems
  • Time with the senior people who hold the knowledge, typically in interviews and a workshop
  • A sponsor who can decide who should own each kind of knowledge
