Deciding where to focus

We work with your leadership team to agree where the organisation should put its effort, what it should offer and what it should stop. You come away with a direction everyone can repeat, written down in a short document.

What it covers

Your markets, your offer and your capacity, looked at together. We test where you could grow against what your team can deliver, and agree what you will do more of, what you will stop and how you will know it is working.

The result is a direction document, presented to your leadership team. It leads on to go-to-market strategy, which works out who to reach and in what order.

How we work

Every plan starts from evidence: the findings from your audits and research, and what your knowledge layer already holds. The maturity assessment, market research and stakeholder interviews are the usual starting material.

Then we work through the choices with your leadership team. The hard part is deciding what to stop. The first time something is cut, someone will push back, so we agree the decision rule in advance.

What we need from you

  • A sponsor who can make decisions between meetings.
  • Time from your senior people, because they hold the knowledge the direction depends on.
  • Early access to your figures, existing plans and analytics.
  • A willingness to stop doing some things.
