Front end development

The part people see

We build the pages and screens people use, so they load quickly and work for everyone. That means phones and large screens, keyboards and screen readers, and pages that search engines can read properly.

What it covers

Everything that runs in the browser: page templates, navigation, forms, search, interactions and motion. We build it from your component library, so each page uses parts that are already designed and tested.

Our usual foundation is Lucidity, our own enterprise Sanity starter kit, with Next.js or Nuxt.

How we work

Front end developers work alongside designers from the start, so questions are settled while the designs are still changing. We build accessibility and speed in as we go: clean markup, keyboard access, image handling and page speed are checked on each template.

Quality assurance tests each template across devices, browsers and assistive technology as it is finished.

What we need from you

  • Agreement on the designs and the content model before we build
  • Your tracking and analytics requirements early, so they are built in from the start
  • Access to any third-party tools the pages have to include, such as forms, donation or booking systems
