The role

We are looking for a Junior Researcher with 2+ years’ experience to join our growing team.

You will work closely with the Research Lead to plan and deliver high-quality research that informs strategy, UX and product decisions. This role is hands-on and collaborative, with exposure to a wide range of projects across websites and digital platforms.

You will help ensure research is rigorous, structured and clearly connected to outcomes.

This is a hybrid role, with a minimum of 1 day per week in our London office.

About the role
Key Responsibilities

- Support the Research Lead in shaping research plans aligned to project goals and business objectives.
- Write discussion guides, usability testing scripts, session plans and surveys.
- Recruit participants with support and manage scheduling and communications.
- Run moderated sessions including usability tests, stakeholder interviews, card sorts and tree tests.
- Assist with unmoderated testing setup and survey deployment.
- Analyse qualitative and quantitative data using clear, structured frameworks.
- Synthesise findings into actionable insights, not just observations.
- Create research artefacts such as personas, journey maps, Jobs To Be Done frameworks and opportunity maps.
- Contribute to clear, concise reports and client-ready presentations.
- Work closely with strategy, creative, design and engineering teams to ensure research insight informs decision-making throughout delivery.

Required experience

- 2+ years’ experience in a UX research, ideally within a digital agency environment.
- Experience running moderated usability tests and interviews.
- Experience writing discussion guides and structuring research activities.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience turning data into insight and recommendations.
- Familiarity with both qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Ability to communicate findings clearly and confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Interest in how websites and digital platforms function within broader digital ecosystems.
- Curiosity about AI-enabled research tools and how they can improve workflow and analysis.

Salary
£32k - £35k
